Our mother, Nayyar Agha wrote her memoirs in the 1970s. The recollections covered the period just before partition till the early 1960s. They were published in the newspapers and magazines of the times, the Morning News and the Herald. We began to compile the articles after our mother passed on in 2005, therefore the names of people, places, and timelines in the Memoirs section cannot be verified. However, the short stories are a work of fiction. Names, characters, events and incidents are the products of the author’s imagination. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.
